A summer watching a bad Reds' team, is still a pretty good summer.

This is like a slow death.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

One ground ball and it's (mostly) all good.

Wow. Well, we're definitely going to need to bring out the offense tonight.

Belted 0-2 pitch. 3-0 Pittsburgh already. No signs of slowing down.

I'm not going to label Latos an ace until he learns how to pitch after bad things happen to him. He's a really really good pitcher, but I'm not sure how much I trust him in big games.

All pitchers will have games like this, 'ace' or not.
