    Quite simply, NO.

"Gigantic?" Might that be a bit of an exaggeration?

Look at all the parts of that strategy that would have needed to work.

Cozart - solid, non-popup contact to a part of the IF where they ain't....

Choo being the little engine that could...steal a base if it failed...which he isn't.

He's better this year. His stats say overall in his career. But in the past he swung for the fences more often as the cleanup hitter. He's been more efficient at simpy getting the runs in this year without swinging solely for the fence.

Okay, I misunderstood. I basically agree with you, though I do think the "success" BP has seen as a 4 hitter has exacerbated some of his general bad habits as a hitter.

Ugh. Not that it matters, but Cozart looks at more strikes and swings at more pitches out of the zone than I can ever remember. Took two pitches for strikes and swung at an un-hitable pitch. Mercy.

Hoover strikes 'em out, and coming up, one last chance. We've got some good batters up, so let's see if there's some chance we can pull this out.

My friend, before you drink too much, I need to introduce you to Drew Stubbs.

It matters to me. Only reason he is not Stubbs...is that he swings and gets himself out quick than Drew did. Stuck with this guy and his inability to hit, probably worse against RHP. Morton would have a field day with guys like this.

Phillips to first on another wild-pitch strikeout. LOL.

Our offense has been shut out twice in our last 4 games.

And that's it. Frazier strikes out swinging. Ouch.
