Maybe the RBI thing has BP swinging for long balls too much.

Reds are losing 4-0, have been pretty much dominated all night, and the talk of this thread is ripping Dusty.

    Hilarious.

    I've hardly posted.

Just listened to Lebowski's good argument and agreed. Nothing excessive about that. Just supporting a good argument, that's all. If you can't take it, put me on ignore.

All good man, he just gets on my nerves with that crap. Me and you have not always seen eye to eye on Dusty, but at least you support your criticism with stats and reasoning!!!

Another bounced throw to second by Mesoraco and a stolen base.

Talk about a guy who lives a charmed life on RedsZone. Mes defensively needs work.

Or that run they could of had if Phillips puts the ball in play. Or the other 6 innings.

    Dusty or whatever.

I agree with this. I know his lifetime stats are better as a 4 hitter, but I have always thought BP would be a much better 2 or 6 hitter. Take away the traditional pressure for cleanup RBI and I think eventually you see BP play much more within himself. The tragedy of Ludwick's injury we talk about less.

He has over 450 career ABs in the top 4 spots in the order, and his best spot statistically is cleanup.

There's not a whole lot to back this up.
