    Random Thoughts

Sometimes a sample size can be too big.

Isn't the point of a warning that you can't retaliate? What's up with managers arguing that they get to take a shot?

But it's time to let Choo pitch an inning.

Should dynamic pricing be correlated with lineup construction?

I vote Partch for comeback player of the year.

Once I'd like to hear an announcer say, "Now that one was intentional."

Bronson Arroyo hit a guy once but the batter didn't notice.

It might motivate the offense if you could get a free pizza for 11 hits.

The all-important loss column is made in April, May and June.

Why is carrying a broom to the ballpark not considered a jinx?

It's important to remember that if any of us were managing the Reds we'd be fired by now.

Baseball's more fun when I forget who I disagree with.

Does anyone use the word "whom" any more?

    Topnotch!

Particularly, 11 hits for free pizza (I can't say I'll enjoy the pizza for 11 K's when we lose).

I absolutely agree that bringing a broom is seriously messing with karma. Just stop it!

Yes, everyone last one of us would have been fired at this point.

    Just excellent, top to bottom.

BTW, I believe Choo was clearly peeved at being hit last night. Usually he gets up and heads to the base, but getting hit down by the knee had to hurt. He looked displeased.

Change it to 11 runs and then you REALLY have a great deal!
