What are the odds that more runs are scored off bad teams than good teams?

What are the odds you've compared what the other good offenses have done against good and bad teams?

Everybody that is strangely confused on the matter: Chapman is NEVER, EVER going to pitch in the 7th inning.

Is that Jim Edmonds in right?
A summer watching a bad Reds' team, is still a pretty good summer.

Hoover has pitched ok lately, when he gets the chance, he has very good stuff. He was rested, yes I would have used him. Not saying he's Rollie Fingers, just saying he was a better choice this time.

Simon and Cingrani were recently used, blew the lead today, and now probably are toast for tomorrow. So I don't think they were the right combo.

You go talk to your friends, talk to Dusty's friends, talk to me.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

It is the weirdest use of hindsight I have ever seen. Every time the Reds give up a 7th or 8th inning run 5 people say "well, obviously Chapman should have been in. Dusty is the worst!"

If all other managers jumped off a bridge would you want Dusty to do so?

Doesn't make it right -- but okay.

I was saying it before they lost the lead, actually.

Jay goes 40 homers/100 RBIs this year.

I guess we'll find out about Tony C.'s make up after this game. Does he own a Twitter account?

Seriously though -- what ever happened to breaking the kid in slowly?

If they had pitched Chapman in the first inning yesterday, we might have had a shot in that game.

And I think that's not the best use of the team's resources. If he had done it, it sends a notice to other teams that he might do it again. People talk about the psychological part of the game. Well there you go. Let other managers worry about that.

So are we going to complain whenever he's handed the ball?

Guy has given up one hit, looks like he knows what he's doing
