No, not systematic PED use. In the US, for example, certain individuals used PEDs, but it was never a national policy. Big difference.

This made me look something up. Anyone noticed Didi's line in June?

    *raises hand*

No power at all this month. Striking out a tad more than before. Walk rate is strong. Swing for the fences early Didi.

So because Puig is Cuban he probably a PED user? Jeez... this topic is invading every single thread now.

A couple of weeks ago, someone brought up the question of whether Puig should be an All Star. I think he should because the Dodgers need a representative (J/K Kershaw).

He's so fun to watch. He's giving everyone young a sample of Bo Jackson but reminding me of Yoenis Cespedes.

Pitchers WILL adjust....but also many on here thought Bryce Harper had zero reason to be in the majors last year.

I think everyone knows he isn't going to hit .500 and slug .800. I also don't think we're going to see a cliff dive.

Reminds me if Matt Kemp. With a little polish, he's going to be something.

    1 walk, 14 strikeouts, .522 BABIP.

Swinging outside of the zone 43% of the time, which would be 4th worst in baseball if he qualified.

Pitchers are going to adjust. He will need to adjust back. But there is going to be an adjustment period for him and likely soon.

    He's making Profar look mediocre.

    MLBTR has this about Profar:

•While the Rangers could use some outfield help, the decision to use Jurickson Profar as an outfielder is somewhat risky, Rosenthal opines. Profar is learning a new position on the fly and has yet to deliver much at the plate in his brief Major League career. If he struggles, he'll lose some trade value if the Rangers decide to move him, and the team may also have more trouble convincing Ian Kinsler to eventually move to the outfield to make room for Profar at second base.
Profar is OPSing less than .700. His bat isn't up to snuff. They talk about moving him to OF, but a sub-.700 OPS guy doesn't have any value in the outfield. Guess they're trying to move Kinsler to the OF........I doubt he goes for that. Meanwhile Profar's value is declining as he's exposed at the plate. Although, he never did impress that much at the plate in the minors. His value was playing SS and the usual "he's young".

    Puig is the real deal.

He's played in all of 37 big league games.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
