Sad, sad story. When Johnny struggles and Cole of the Pirates stand between the Reds and third olace, who would have believed it would be us in third? We're about to live that now. Our starting staff has been less than stellar lately and that spells disaster.

I still feel good about this game. Dunno why, maybe just because the dickeybirds lost, maybe I'm delusional, or maybe I just think the boys will come through... Not sure which, but I feel OK about this one.

Has anyone tried busting Goldy inside this year? The guy stood there...with impunity....and hit that outside pitch without a worry in the world that he would get busted inside.

Also an error on Phillips to move the runner to 3rd. That is rough error on a ball that Votto should have fielded

I don't want players who look fat and sloppy. If that's "really, really weird" so be it.

(And yes, I know there are exceptions to the rule.)

Perhaps because our offense has been showing signs of life? I still think we're in it with a chance, too, but we need to get out of this inning without anymore runs against us.
