Willie and Didi would look good in this Reds lineup. And that says less about them, and more about the current.

I hope the pitching staff is just in a funk.

Didn't Hoover pitch two innings yesterday?

Some really odd bullpen choices lately.

Of course Simon and Cingrani are likely out tonight since they were used yesterday, though IMO should not have been.

Why are you so worried about a team that can barely play .400 ball after the AS break for the last 2 years?

Team better get it together fundamentally or this is going to be an ugly stretch before the ASB. The defense that has been so solid for years is strating to worry me.

When it comes to leadership and focus, this team seems to walk a thin line.
"I talked to an advance scout that told me if Joey Votto and Albert Pujols were on the same team he'd advise his team to do the unthinkable...pitch around Votto to get to Pujols." - Buster Olney, ESPN

Your sarcasm meter == Not turned on.

Also: There are exceptions to every rule. Do you want players in shape or not, on average? Exactly.

Trying to balance out the times when he goes ridiculously far to his right and fields balls BP easily would get.

8 errors this year, and a whole bucket of mental errors to go along with it.

He's aloof. That's what I'm blaming it on.

So Partch? Parra? in a game that is still close?

Relievers can pitch back to back games...even if they went 2 innings the previous game. He did not throw a lot of pitches the previous game and can probably give you one. This is what relievers do, they pitch in multiple games. Yet every time Dusty puts someone in for 2 let alone 3 straight games there is head shaking. NOT by you every time...but by at least a majority most of the time.
