Good game to hide if you are in the Reds pen. The D-Backs wearing out the basepaths tonight.

I would let Partch finish this game and then send him to AAA. I would then bring up a fresh arm.

This would be a quick way to rest the pen and add a fresh arm at the same time.

Partch would be the sacrificial lamb, unfortunate but necessary. I mean he goes three or four innings tonite, everyone else rests, and start fresh tomorrow.

We could have Kelch drive him to Phoenix International in his rental car

Pitchers need to bust him inside. Until they do he will have no fear. He will have holes than Votto does not have and be exploited soon enough.

Partch might not finish the inning, let alone the game.

Not many options until after the ASB. Heisey/Pen are the LF combo. Not great, but livable.

It's the pen that has me terrified at this point.

The D-Backs just beating up the Reds staff like its 2004 or 2005 or 2007 or 2008...

These D-Backs look like professional hitters.. Fouling of pitches till they get what they want.. SADLY our Reds dont have more then 3 who do that

That's exactly my point. Don't throw another fresh arm at this game.

Use a position player if you must relieve Partch.

    Desperate measures for desperate times.

Oh well. bought a sixer of Black Crown to relax and watch the game. So much for that.

    Classic fail.
