The plate approach is one of my biggest complaints about this team.

It's my número uno....by a decent bit. It's been this way for several years.

The Reds failed to address Ludwick's injury. Heisey might possibly get hot upon his return and help. Lutz and Derrick Robinson aren't likely to.

It's the best answer I got without immediate trades.
What were the options to fix LF? Few tradeable commodities and virtually no one deals early in the season.

Catcher and LF have been the biggest offensive hole this season to league average. The Reds are sub .600 OPS and 100 pts below league average at catcher. That one is an obvious fix. Also about 100 pts below league average now in LF. Heisey/Paul isn't ideal, but will surely be an improvement.

Gene Garber works a scoreless 8th after hitting 2 batters.

Can we please not play Hanigan anymore. Goodness. He needs to be a 1 out of 5 games catcher.

Yeah but Meso makes the umpire not make fair calls in the strike zone.

Hanigan is channeling Dann Billardello and Dave Van Gorder at this point.

Trade Simon and Robinson for CarGo. Easy deal.

A prerequisite to being an MLB starter is getting a few hits here or there. Hanigan is an auto out.
