    Well played, Sir.

    Pitiful.
Yep. It's a sad reality. One we've tried to ignore. One that hasn't gone away the last four years.

    Thank You.

Now I realize this is a Game Thread....but this is a situation where having a rep as a hitter who takes pitches works against you and actually being aggressive on the 1st pitch would have been better served. Struggling to score runs and you let a strike down the middle go by. The pitcher is expecting you to probably take. What do you think? You're pretty rational and upbeat about things.

Phillips, Bruce and Frazier. 2 of these three should do *something*.

Heath Bell in. Good or bad thing?

Yes, how dare anyone have an opinion during a game.

LOL. We've lost 2 in a row. We've played .500 ball over the past 10 games. Guess what...so have the Cards. We're fine. We need to get a few guys healthy and we'll be FINE.

Heath Bell coming in. I like our chances now. :O)

I don't enjoy watching us lose. I enjoy watching fantastic performances. The pitching on both sides has been phenomenal as has the defense. I guess some people only appreciate the high scoring games. Different strokes I guess.

Didn't realize *****ing like the world is ending was an opinion.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Opinions fine, declaring the team done in mid-June with their record is asinine.
This is the ol Left Hander rounding third and heading for home.

4.40 ERA for Heath Bell. The stats say we have about a 50/50 chance of tying the game here.

We expected to lose....we just hoped the end was right around the corner, or there would be positives from the younger players...or a REAL LIVE Fire Sale. You know...Blow It Up and Make it yours...Insert GM name______.

Great job by Leake to save the bullpen. That is about it.

Take until you get a strike. Let him walk you.

It's a long season, watching every game will cause you to go insane. I know from insane. Not fun.
