My dog like a great percentage of dogs has allergies, not bad but enough to irritate her. I have been thinking of giving her fish oil to help curb her allergies, google searches say fish oil helps curb dog allergies. Does anyone give their dogs fish oil and is it beneficial or a bunch of bunk?
When I see the 2016 Reds, I see a 100 loss team and no direction.
We have a female black lab and give her fish oil capsules with her evening meal. Seems to help to help to keep the itchies at bay.
It's not a cure-all, but it does seem to have a positive affect.

Crazy as it seems, we give our dog a vegetarian diet and it has worked very well. I forget the name of the food, some thing like Nature's Balance.

We have a 13 year-old collie mix who used to really suffer with her allergies. A couple of years ago, our vet suggested we change her diet and give her Benedryl twice a day. It took a month or more for the diet change to take affect, but she has had virtually no symptoms of her allergies since the change in diet.
We feed her the Blue Buffalo brand dog food that is a salmon and potato recipe and is formulated for dogs with food sensitivities. Apparently, corn and some other grains are major ingredients in most dog foods and are also major causes of allergic reactions in dogs.
I have to drive across town to a Petsmart to get Blue Buffalo dog food, and it is not cheap (about $32 for 17 lbs.). It has really been worth it for our dog. Our daughter also defeated her corgi's allergies by changing to a Blue Buffalo salmon and potato recipe diet.
It takes a few weeks to see the change, but our dog and our daughter's dog have not suffered since we changed over.

We give our French Bulldog the Blue Buffalo grain-free kibble and a half-tab of Benedryl and that combo seems to keep her alergies
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.
