    1.030 OPS!!!
    10 home runs!!!

    those numbers = cleanup hitter
That's a flawed stat from B-R. Those are his numbers in games where a lefty started, no matter who he faced later in the game.

Because I'd put Phillips back in the two slot.

I don't think three consecutive lefty hitters against a lefty pitcher would be wise.

    Against a righty hurler, fine.

Not easy to come up with a lineup with this group, BP out, Choo's issues v lefties.

I can see the point - just move Robinson to the 2 hole -- not like Dusty hasn't put him there before.

    Bruce is hitting .282 against LHP vs. Frazier's .224 & HR are 7 - 4

Cardinals have an extremely easy schedule up to the All Star break. They play the Astros 4 times, the Cubs 4 times, the Angels 3 times, and the Marlins 3 times. The only good team they play is the A's for 3 games.
We have to play good baseball to keep pace during this stretch.

I'm glad Heisey is back....but also understand his limits. Seems like a great guy that doesn't gripe about things and is an all-star effort guy all the time.

I've been wondering this the last few games in which Dusty has done this. It makes my head hurt...
    He had games last year where he'd have LH 3rd , RH 4th, LH 5th....but 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 1st, 2nd all righties.

Break out the coffee pots, they've got us up until 1 tonight.

    I feel good about Heisey.
