I disagree and say they have made more in the games they've played than the opponents have in those games.

Your 2nd sentence is my favorite and the 3rd word is key.

While that pitch was in the dirt, Hanigan just doesn't seem to do much to help the team much lately. His catcher's era is going through the roof after the Cueto and Bronson beatdowns.

i think that was the point
there's nothing like bowling a 300 game! 13 now and retired.

Ricky henderson has a higher OBP than C. patterson and he's retired. C. Trent 6-14-2008

Not that it will matter but Arroyo got squeezed on that 2-2 pitch. Should have ended the inning.

Be a good time to get the bullpen some work:

Hoover: Pitched last Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. Didn't pitch all weekend and had yesterday off.

Lecure: Pitched last Monday and Wednesday. Hasn't pitched since.

Partch: Pitched last Tuesday and Friday. Hasn't pitched since.

Simon: Pitched last Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Hasn't pitched since.

Cingrani: PItched last Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. Hasn't pitched since.

Nevermind. Let's just concede the game.

Meanwhile, Pirates are winning big and so are the Cardinals. I guess 3.5 back sounds good.

Deadpan sense of humor. Sometimes doesn't come through in writing. Sorry.

    Flyout ends the inning.

Definitely did. He got squeezed on two pitches in the previous inning.

    Is that CB Buckner?

I'm surprised Kelch wasn't mentioning it right away. He's better on TV than Paul Keels, but he seems to drift away from the game at odd times.

Lazz Diaz is the not very good ump.
