Anyhow, I hope the guy is still alive and doing well. I know he butted heads with some people, but he kept things interesting on FB.
I never actually met or spoke to him, I just saw him there. I wasn't about to talk to him.

Wow, didn't know you were on Fastball.. Most of the other guys I overlooked, I remembered, once they identified themselves.. Welcome back to RZ too.

I believed I saw him at the 2000 RedsFest which if IIRC was also held in January. He was there in the first row of the main stage with his tape recorder. Was probably on the lookout for him because of Chip's description from a previous year or Richard himself might have reminded everyone that he would be there.

Never on Fastball, DickieThonFanClub was already DOA when I heard of it, lurked very briefly on ActiveDayton, and was the one of the last standing at the old Enquirer site (while playing hooky on the new RedsZone).

Not to get too deep but I realize that I've "known" some of you for over 15 years. But not really. And that's kind of strange, a new form of human relation born of the internet age.

When the Lincoln Meyer character was introduced in season three of Boston Legal, I couldn't help think of Richard Hand. The Lincoln Meyer character was exactly as I had imagined Richard.

    I couldn't find a video: http://bostonlegal.wikia.com/wiki/Lincoln_Meyer
