Oh, I'm not saying at the exclusion of fixing the hapless offense. Far from it. Just could use that strong LH guy down in the pen with Marshall still out.

I commented to a friend about game time as it started to rain (at KY Speedway) that I would rather be home watching the Reds instead of seeing rain at a race track. I was wrong. Brad K won here in KY and I watched the last few innings of a train wreck. Guys, it's so frustrating seeing this team not hit. Drives me nuts.

At least the Cardinals are experiencing the Oakland welcome.

From the game thread debate the other night about pulling Arroyo early, Matheny pulled Miller in the second inning tonight to try and slavage an early deficit.

If the Reds were guaranteed a playoff spot, I would wish that the Pirates don't crater this season. I am not actively rooting for them to win. But those fans have suffered long enough, IMO.

Nah, 'eff em (with apologies to IAmBucsFan). Particularly for their announcers, but also because I'd have to hear even more whining from Reds fans about how much better run a team that hasn't had a winning year in 20 seasons is than us.
