I will, Dusty should have known JC was gonna get hurt and that if he brought in Cingrani he would pitch like crap. Everyone knows that this woulda been a perfect time to work Chapman in as a starter! Everyone knows this.....except Dusty!

well, it could have been a lot worse
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

BP's drop could have saved 2 runs and Cingrani about 20 pitches.

And that we only lost one pitcher to an injury...

Yep, this past week or so has just been a team wide underperformance.

The good news is, they are not as bad as they look right now.

Ahh, that explains the performance so far. ESPN, MLB Network. I think the Reds are 1-38 in games on those networks since 2007.

At full strength they're way, way better.

I don't think they're going to be full strength for a long time, though.

I didn't think Tony was that bad. Some of those pitches were close, a couple of questionable calls. He's a rookie, he probably has never come into a game so suddenly after an injury like that.

Really like Cingrani, I think he's going to be very good.

Glad the Reds have him, they will likely need him to start again now. I think he will do a good job of it.
