I wasn't a poster when they signed him.

I was for signing Votto, but I am against 10+ year contracts, especially for a 1st basemen that really isnt that young. Miguel Cabrera is way better than Votto and he signed for 8 years.

I think it was just a mistake. Anyone that reaches on an error automatically would be an unearned run if they eventually score. I assume that the scorer just accidently ruled it an earned run at first and realized his mistake later.

I predict the Reds come back, but I'm afraid the pen will blow it.

He got 6 weak outs and they scored 3.....he should get credit for an extra inning pitched.

Optimism cushioned by pessimism. I like the change of pace lol

Very good point. Very good incite.

I didn't agree earlier though with the suggestion that Votto's bad defense may reflect a lack of rest.

Liriano on course to throw a shutout.

Could be the Reds have intuited that they're the third-best team in the division.

Not because he's tired physically, but a few games without the added responsibility should help relax him IMO.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Joey has needed a game off for about 3 weeks now. Seriously, what player is more intense offensively? You know after a while it HAS to drain on you some.
