Just saw Frazier's HR, that was CRUSHED.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

These guys really needed a game like this. Just settle the nerves and get back to business.

Yep, I want to say against Milwaukee only a week or so into the season.

I'm watching on ESPN Monday night baseball, and they actually led into the Frazier HR beautifully. They had just shown a mammoth Frazier HR from April, and were talking about how much power Todd has...then boom!

Normally I'm superstitious about getting too many runs at once. But right now, the Reds need a 20-spot on the board and get some momentum going.

Yep, and to Thom's credit he brought up EE's stats with RISP (which were good) and with the bases loaded (which were epic).

And then when EE launched it Thom was like "IS THAT CLUTCH?" or something like that haha.

Someone get this Giant's pitcher a sandwich or something. I think I saw him on a Sally Struthers infomercial.

Tom: “See, that’s the problem when you ask a guy who’s never bunted…”
Jeff: “Take him out of the game! Take him out of the game.”
    Thom: “Ok, but…”
Jeff: “If he can’t bunt take him out of the game. Put somebody else in there.”
Thom: “Ok, but if you believe in the bunt in this situation…”
Jeff: “You’re at home. You have to tie the game.”
    Thom: “But that’s a by-the-book kind of thing. I don’t know if there’s anybody on that bench…that you’re going to bring in…”
Jeff: “This guy is NOT a clutch hitter.”
Thom: “But his numbers are contrary to that…”
    Jeff: “He’s not. He’s not…not…not a clutch hitter.”

I think this is an area where Jeff has grown as a broadcaster. I'm still not a huge fan, but I don't see him making similar comments today.

I wonder if Votto reaches that if he wasn't choking up 10 inches.
