How true. Mitch should be limited to one comment about himself every other game. He was broadcasting the Reds game , I think he made 4 or 5 comments like "Well, I would throw the fastball, no one would know where it was going to end up"..
He really over does the self-depreciating humor and comments about himself. This is a baseball game, not a dinner where Mitch is the guest of honor.
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob
Nov. 13, 2007: One of the greatest days in Reds history: John Allen gets the boot!
Twitter-ites and the media are not 1 in the same, I am referring to the media....when are they going to catch on and start calling him out own how often he is flat wrong? And I am not talking about his silly opinions, I am talking about him just being factually wrong. A hundred tweets in akin to a bunch of us sitting at BW3's talking about him being wrong(ok, maybe not akin, but you get my drift) I want the media to ask him when they are on his show....I want some to call him out ala Richard Sherman calling out skip Bayless.
I also want to add.....as much as I despise Harold, I still love MLB network and will still watch it daily....MLB network has pissed my wife off so much that I laugh when she walks in the door, stops by the recliner to give me a kiss, ask how my day was and then she says "so, what's going on with Brian and Harold tonight? Has Kevin did his gottt heeem episode yet? Have you been drooling over Alana since you got home from work?" Gotta love a wife who respects the power and authority of a channel dedicated to nothing but baseball.
The baseball media, the beat guys at least, simply don't have time to watch the show. The east coast guys are already at the stadium working by the time the show comes on. And then of course you have to realize that plenty of traditional media thinks exactly like he does.
Brought this back up.....only because Kenny basically said, after that Oriole debacle with Coco Danny Graves Johnson on the mound (Buck is even slower than Dusty in making the move to get him out of a game)...but Kenny said one of the things they will discuss was the Reds lineup construction. He was not saying it in a good way either.
Dan Plesac's spray on hair is awful.....but love his personality/commentary
I can't get to a tv so please let me know the drivel that was spoken
The solution to offer would be anyone in the lineup batting 2nd other than the pitcher before Cozart. Cozart is easily the worst OBP guy on the team. Yet bats second. I really wonder how managers rationalize things like this in their heads. Dusty isn't the only guy batting low OBP guys 1 or 2 in their lineup.

I might as well go watch Geraldo Rivera opening up Al Capone's vault on VHS...and then come back to Kenny actually talking about this at all. It's like waiting for ESPN to show your teams highlights while reviewing a Yankees-Red Sox game for about half an hour.
