That's an excellent list of 2nd and 3rd string catchers from the early 70's. I can still see nearly every one of them on my baseball cards

Some FANTASTIC names in this list. Dean Palmer! Geoff Jenkins! Emil Brown!

Jaret Wright reminds me of a player I saw pitching the other night--Jamey Wright is still in MLB!

I always loved hearing John Boccabella introduced by the PA guy in Montreal.

I probably had 3 Don Pavletich cards at one time. For a while, he was the only Red I ever found in a pack.

Me too. I can still hear him say John Boccaaaabellllllaaaaaaa! When the Expos play in old Jarry Park they had a very rockus crowd,IIRC. Seemed like a loud crowd with something always going on in the background. When they move to that awful Olympic stadium that just died away. If there was ever a case for a new bright stadium they sure had it. I've wondered if they ever had got that new stadium would they have moved?

    Here's some old Expos names:

    Pepe Mangual
    Tim Foli
    Steve Rogers
    Ellis Valentine
    Rusty Staub
    Coco Laboy
    Claude Raymond
    Barry Foote
    Carl Morton

Of cousre if the Expos hadn't moved then Washington wouldn't have had a team. Iwould be going to see games live as often as I can now.

Remember the home runs that wound up in the public swimming pool just past the right field fence?
