Gotta stay aggressive man! Even if the pitcher can only throw a strike if the umpire gifts one to him, gotta stay aggressive!

Cozart with a force out at 2nd, Bailey moves to 3rd. Can't Cozart hit to the right side?

Terrible at bat by votto. Maybe Phillips can get him in

That at bat is not a typical Votto AB, but seems typical of 2013.
Yes that was a very impressive infield single. I thought for a second it was leaving the yard. - texasdave 10/13/12

It's no coincidence that Votto's RBI's are down this year.

I've spent some time lately looking at the stats for Reds starters. Bailey has the highest ERA of all of them. His won lost record isn't very good.

Yet, I would argue that overall this year he has pitched as well or better than any other Reds starter.

One very interesting stat is "pitch value." Bailey's fastball is valued this year at 14.4. This is by far the highest value of any pitch of any hurler on the Reds. This is only one of many interesting, mostly favorable stats for him.

Apparently the middle of the Reds lineup forgot that Tim Lincecum sucks. How do you have two check swings in one at bat? That was terrible.

I kinda thought that Choo was safe at second on that play, guess not.

Votto looked like the sun was in his eyes in that at bat. Too bad, big chance there.
