We're still good, Homer's still awesome
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

    "I just $&?!ing walked a guy...it's a tough game, you know?"

Bailey just said that to Pecoiro on live t.v.

    I love that guy.

Congratulations Homer!!! I was watching the last 2 1/2 innings here at Disney. I wanted to join the game thread...but I was actually nervous I might jinx it. And I don't believe in that crap. :O) Just thrilled for Homer. Great stuff.

Btw, I'm disappointed in MLB.tv...they showed the celebration right up to where Latos was just about to nail Homer with the shaving cream...it cut off when he was about 1 foot away from Homer. Boooooo. :O)
    2014 predictions:

Bruce/Votto neck and neck MVP race (neither takes it)
    Bailey CYA winner
