    Re: 7/2/13 - Reds vs. Gigantes - Homer Bailey's 2nd No Hitter

I'm in Korea. Watched the game at a local pizza restaurant with 2 old (75 easy) guys. Entire restuarant quiet and they threw the 3 kids(10 or so?) out when they wouldn't stop talking. Everyone on the edge of their seats until the grounder to Frazier. When votto made the catch they both jumped out of their chair on the final out with me. 10:30 am chilling with a couple old Korean dudes, eating pizza, watching a no-hitter. Good morning.

    Congrats Homer!

Dusty says he's superstitious. PA guy played the last out of Homer's pervious no hitter in the 8th inning. "I said 'oh no' because most of us don't like that"

Thx -- in the first inning I thought I saw him being in control tonight --- but -- a no no? can't say that entered my mind

and yes - I hate the Cardinals (Reds fan since 1958)

I DVR this game. Was at work. Saw he had a no-no through 6 and then went back to work. Could not believe it when I got home and saw that he had done it as the recording was ending basically.

    Thanks, Homer.

    No cooler game to watch.

Loved the Giants telecast. They made the point that you cannot throw a more dominant game off the fastball than Homer did tonight.

Schilling said that Homer should be the guy that pitches game 1 of the playoffs and World Series.

    Very nice.

I forgot that Dusty wasn't around to witness Bailey's last no-no so it was cool that he was there tonight (even if you aren't a fan of Dusty).

Congratulations to Homer on No-Hitter #2!

I just got online and haven't read the entire thread, so maybe this has already been addressed. But I think this is the first no-hitter in GABP history!

I was thinking of that too when they showed Dusty in the dugout watching during the 8th inning. He was grinning just like I was. Well...minus the toothpick of course.
