Homie on a roll so far.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

If Cozart does not advance the runner, the same folks would want him bunting
You will never see me state someone should bunt in the first inning, no matter the outcome, unless it's the pitcher.

If we're batting well enough that the pitcher spot comes up with less than 2 down, I say let him swing away, this pitcher has nothing.
    Is it "next season" yet?

That manufactured first inning run looks good now. That's a good changeup he has tonight

Homer is inconsistent at times, but man when he's on, the last two years he's looked especially good.

pitching coach coming out to let him know "they are going to give away an out here, so just relax, throw strikes, and let them give you one."
