Watching Homer absolutely mow down the Giants just makes the pain from last year's playoffs come back for some reason.

    Am I the only one?

I kind of don't want the reds to score any more runs, I feel as if Homer is feeding off of how close this game is.

The upper end of his game is as good as most any pitcher in the league.

Had that exact sensation in the 5th inning.

    Had no idea Homer had a 9 K/9 and a 2.2 BB/9 this year. That's elite.

Uh, yeah I'll take like 70 runs. Win the game.

That was a nasty pitch right there to Votto for strike 2

Buddy of mine is a SF fan. While I was happy for him, I remind him frequently that I consider that our championship. We just didn't accept it.

If they had just pushed across a one more run...
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."
