So the Reds have 19 games left against the Pirates/Cardinals and 58 games left against everyone else.

As much as the "big game" narrative is cool, the season will be decided more so on the 58 than the 19.

When you are in the second half, there are three contenders, and they still play each other 32 times, there's a good chance that those head to head games will have a large impact.

It's a lot of head to head games, caused by the imbalanced schedule, and also because the Bucs and Cards haven't played each other much so far in 2013.

The other games will matter too, yes.

Well, I was hoping the Reds would've done better against the Mariners.

Still, not horrible.. 3.5 behind both the Pirates and Cards.

Hopefully we can win 2 of 3 vs the Brewers and at least split the 4 games with the Braves.
