    Dayton tied 1-1 after 6 innings.

    All the damage was done in the second inning against Corcino, who 5.1 scoreless innings after that.

    Way too many walks for this level. You can get by with that in lower levels. He's looking like possibly the pen is his future.

    Either that or he's hurting somewhere and hiding it.

    Bakersfield was leading 5-2 through 8 innings. Then they allowed 6 runs in the top of the 9th to lose 8-5.

    Guys have absolutely done this before. Happens all of the time throughout the minors.

    Corcino gave up almost all of his hits and all of the runs in one inning. Take away the second inning and he was outstanding. To ask if he is trying is kind of insulting really. He has made multiple mechanical changes this season to try and get something to work for him.

    to quote Jason Parks of BP: Baseball is "freaking" hard.
