Mes with back spasms sitting tonight.

Don't blame Dusty for sitting him today.

Mes/Mez/Rocco with back spasms? Who would be the back-up back-up catcher?

The only acceptable answer is "Corky"

This is a horrible lineup today. Gloomy day and a gloomy lstart.

My only real beef with management is not having some kind of half way workable solution at catcher in Louisville. Surely there is a better option out there than Corky.

Derrick Robinson 2nd and. Jack Hannahan hitting 6th. You know you've had some bad luck with injuries when that happens.

How is it any different than the guys they typically run out there? Hell, at least automatic outs like Cozart and Frazier are out of the equation.
Rounding third and heading for home...

Todd Frazier and Cozart are Schmidt and Larkin compared to Izturis and Hannahan. Jack hannahan is the worst hitting third basemen I've ever seen.

As a change of pace, I don't mind the Reds' lineup today. Against a righty pitcher, having Cozart and Frazier out for a day is ok with me. Paul hasn't been hitting, no big loss there.

Would prefer Mesoraco, although Ryan has looked somewhat better of late at the bat.

The guys who are sitting basically aren't doing anything so let's give this a try for one game.

Votto draws a walk on four straight pitches to keep the inning alive.

Hannahan will hit better, actually I think he's shown a bit more lately. His usual numbers are better than this.

Izturis isn't a hitter, but I'd give him a game or two. Cozart alternates between grounders to third and pop ups to short right. Watch Zack, it's one or the other almost every time.

Robinson and Phillips both hit the ball hard with nothing to show for it.
Zero chance the Reds miss the playoffs!
