    Knee injury for Molina

The reason he didn't play today. He's getting it checked out.

From what I read the Cardinals didn't seem to think it was too serious. They even said he could be in today's game.

    Who knows though.

The Cards have a track record (at least in my mind) of riding their horses pretty hard. So when their guys wear down, it's fine with me. Is it ok I say it serves them right?

Good to hear. When the Cards finish in third place, over ten games behind the Reds, I don't want them to be able to make any excuses

By the way if the Cardinals play .500 ball from here on out they'll finish at 91-71. So the Cards would either have to tank or the Reds would have to go 51-23 the rest of the way.

Both seem increasingly unlikely to occur.

Where are you getting your math from? The Reds are 50-38, and they would have to go 51-23 to get to 91 wins?

It's true, but what good comes from a Cards fan on a Reds board saying it?

Telling someone they have an inferiority complex (much less telling an entire message board) is a sign of a superiority complex.

Plus, I'm not sure anyone has used the term "chatsite" un-ironically since about 1999.

Although them Molina brothers are incredibly durable, they do have their downtimes as well...... Looks like Yadi has had trouble with this knee in the past.

Molina looks to have started a little to soon today. That knee was bothering him pretty bad (or at least it appeared to be) from the 4th inning on. Hope they give him a few more days off with the Stros and Cubs in town.
