Hoping that the Reds hitters would give Bronson a breather... But 4 pitches in Cozy DPs. Votto singles. Let see what BP can do. Saunders @ 12 pitches.

Votto singles, DatDude singles. Up to Bruce for some 2 out magic.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Do Marty and Thom ever harp on this ...along with him batting 2nd...like they do Votto's lack of RBI and Bruce's cold spells?

He seems to get off easy because they know he has limitations.

I would even prefer Hesiey over Cozart right now. He is one hitter you can say... I would prefer a K.

In an alternate universe where Cozart doesn't bat second, this game would be at least tied.

Bruce hits one up the middle, but fielded nicely by Miller and tossed to second. 3 hits, no runs for the Reds.

Not necessarily. BP's ball could have easily been a DP. The second baseman moved off the spot apparently expecting a hit and run.

Lineup construction just cost a run.....beating a dead horse I know. I actually like Cozart, but he belongs down at 7 or 8....he just seems to do better down in the lineup rather than hitting second. Maybe I'm wrong, too lazy to look up the actual numbers....
