Yep. It also is the match ups aren't good for us. They throw a lineup of lefties at our right-handed pitchers and they throw southpaws at us when our best hitters are left handed.

1st Base Coach wouldn't look him in the eyes as he ran to first base.

Cozart's K rate is 15.6%, one of the lowest on the ballclub. He has a low K rate, and a very low BB rate.

His BABIP this year is very low, .261 entering today. So, you'd think that if he continues to make contact he will likely improve, more ball should fall in.

Biggest problem with Cozart is a ridiculously low walk rate this year.

Yes. The ball went all of two feet before it hit the ground.

Easy inning for BA but over 70 pitches. Hopefully he can get thru the 6th.

We're about to lose a 3 game series at home against a Seattle Mariners team that came in 10 games below .500. And we did not see King Felix or Iwakuma. That's just unacceptable.

The Right-handed hitters should eventually get to Saunders today, no matter how bad they have looked so far.

Over his career, Cozart has hit first, second and seventh. The seventh spot hitting has been a smaller sample size.

Cozart's .744 OPS hitting second is much higher than the other two slots.

Is this reverse psychology? It's only the 4th inning for crying out loud! Should I get up and leave since the game is lost?

Time to get the bats going.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
