When you can find me a realistic target to acquire who helps, let me know.

Not one player who has changed hands this season would have done the Reds any good.

To sit here and say do something for the sake of doing something when we have no idea what the market is, who is available, and for what, it's ridiculous. You can't make those statements.

I don't talk to GMs. I don't know who was available or the price.

But I do know this. Many teams are not contenders who would prefer prospects to veterans. That early in the season the demands may be relatively high. That a team like the Reds, a supposed contender, should be willing to mortgage the future just a bit to cure a current problem.

You call my position ridiculous. I think your position is ridiculous -- that in all of organized baseball there was not one good hitter available all season for a fair and meaningful price.

This team went three months playing Derrick Robinson and Donald Lutz. If you think that's the best the GM could do, feel free, but it's a defeatist, passive, and unimaginative position.

BTW.... When do you think Walt will realize this team is sinking fast? When they are 1 game behind in the WC? When...is he actually going to be concerned?

Your first part of your post was all you needed to say. You know nothing. It's not an insult, it's true. You know nothing, I know nothing. You can't sit here and pound the table and say do something when you don't know what is going, who is available, and what is being asked.
