Sorry, but the injuries began three months ago. Reds have made zero player moves. Zero.

Maybe it is difficult but it needed to be done.

    Front office had a good off-season. A bad in-season.

I also think again like 2011....Walt seems to loathe making many moves during the season.

Scott Hairston was traded to the Nationals by the Cubs. For not much really.....he could not have helped the bench? I do not think the Cubs would mind trading with the Reds after the Wood/Marshall deal?
Scott Hairston is hitting .172 this season.

Are you literally just throwing poop at the wall and hoping it sticks?

doesn´t make fun to stay awake all night to watch the reds...

it´s weird, the record is pretty good but my memory and my eyes says something different...

think it´s because of the success they got lately and the roster..

Chris Welsh explaining WAR on FS Ohio. Brave new world.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

    They're just boring to watch.
Yes that was a very impressive infield single. I thought for a second it was leaving the yard. - texasdave 10/13/12

When you can find me a realistic target to acquire who helps, let me know.

Not one player who has changed hands this season would have done the Reds any good.

To sit here and say do something for the sake of doing something when we have no idea what the market is, who is available, and for what, it's ridiculous. You can't make those statements.

Hairston hasn't played much this year. Over his career has been an effective player. I would have taken a chance on him. Not now, but months ago.

Can't believe he was that hard to obtain.

    Agreed.

But there's a lesser known TV movie that he and Charlie were both in called Rated X that I thought was pretty good too.
