It was a strike, but Devon moves around so much he resurrects Hal Morris.

Was hoping for a bounceback night for Latos, 5-6 shutout innings or so. Not so much here.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

You'd think Leake or Arroyo might have rubbed off on him. No dice.

Mes got a .668 OPS with bad defense when he was healthy. Not as if he looks that much worse right now. Just more of the same if you ask me.

I just don't see improvement and it's hard to stay on the bandwagon. Hope he gets healthier and improves, whatever.

This. Latos is good, but also a mental midget.

Blaming Devon White hardly seems appropriate.

And now a complete meltdown by Latos. Man, this season is shaping up to be the most disappointing season of my lifetime.

I think that is the ballgame...just don't see the Reds getting more than 6 runs.

Yeaaap. He will give the Reds many years of a lot of great innings.

I won't trust him until he corrects that problem though. Killed the Reds in Game 5 last year.

Watching the Reds is becoming unpleasant.

Watching them on the road is torture.

I think we're going to see Latos explode when the inning ends.

    Dog-walking time.
Heads of state that ride and wrangle. That look at your face from more than one angle. Can cut you from their bloated budgets. Like sharpened knives through Chicken McNuggets.

When your team is really, really good you think you can win games like this. Even now.

Very hard to think that way with the Reds, they just don't seem to have it in them.
