The bottom of the line up doing exactly what they've done all year..next to nothing.

Reds don't hit the ball out of the infield in the 7th, out 1-2-3.

    6-4 ATL, mid 7

Its not fair and theres nothing to support it. But Votto has lost his focus a lot. And he has not stepped up and carried the team the way Ludwick did last year when Joey got hurt.

What an easy inning. It looks like even braves fans are bored with the Reds.
Do you visit RedsZone when the Reds are doing well?

It seems you only post during rough stretches.

Simon has been a great pickup for this club.

Gotta say, I don't understand this at all. Votto's an incredible player who's having a bit of an off year and yet his numbers aren't bad....just not what we've seen from him since being a Red.

What does it say? Last year we had Wilson Valdez and Bill Bray on the team and we won 97 games.

You've really got to wonder, what was the thinking process of the guy at Baltimore who decided to let him go?

Yeah he's only 1-2 with an RBI and walk tonight.

He didn't get on base every time up.

    Cut him.

You lose any credibility you might have, mrherd, when you say you already didn't like Votto. He is taking a few too many pitches for my taste this year, but he's hardly the problem with this team. You have an anti-Votto agenda that you want to push no matter what.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
