If Heisey makes an out, Mes and Choo both get to face Kimbrel.

Frazier has no plate discipline. Unless you consider "Throwing The Bat At The Ball With One Arm" plate discipline.

It stinks because I really wanted to like Frazier and believed he was our 3B of the present and future. Team might need to re-asses that.

Jordan Walden may prefer to go after Chris Heisey, whose OPS is .650 this season, with the slider rather than facing Shin-Soo Choo, whose OPS is .867.
    Thanks, Gameday.

I love Todd as a bench guy, but believe we need to find a more productive bat at the hot corner.
Yes that was a very impressive infield single. I thought for a second it was leaving the yard. - texasdave 10/13/12

Probably do....for one it's the only inning that you are going to face at least 1 and probably 2 of their best hitters...another slight factor is the pitcher doesn't warm up much on the game mound and it takes some getting a feel for, especially on the road.

That can be said for the entire left side.

The Reds have one of the best staff's in baseball despite missing Cueto the majority of the year.

    It's just you.

    Bingo.

If Walden is going to pitch around Heisey, Mesoraco, and a PH with 2 on and a 1-run lead then he deserves to get burned by Choo's higher OPS.
