Latos at 42 pitches and the 2nd isn't over. Gonna be a long night.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

    3-2 Braves now. Unearned run.
    I miss Adam Dunn.

I would imagine sliding would just further aggravate it.
Heads of state that ride and wrangle. That look at your face from more than one angle. Can cut you from their bloated budgets. Like sharpened knives through Chicken McNuggets.

I wonder if the "stupid effing pitch" comment from Latos was about himself or the guy calling the pitches.

The Reds defense, or lack there of, has forced Latos to throw an additional 15 pitches or so in two innings.

Can't blame it all on the defense though, Latos has been subpar tonight.

Don't worry, Reds will have one of those patented five run rallies where everybody hits and knock out Hudson.

Latos is probably thinking to himself "If I wanted this kind of offensive and defensive support, I could have stayed in San Diego"
