    Minor League Updates: Thursday 7/11/2013

Louisville and Toledo are scoreless after two.

Corcino with three hitless, scoreless innings. Make that four. Corcino gives up a single in the fifth but it doesn't blossom.

Billy Hamilton singled and stole a base but was left stranded. 0-0 in the fifth.

Indianapolis jumps ahead in the seventh with a pair of runs. That ends the night for Corcino. Very strong outing for DC. 7IP 3H 2R 2ER 4BB 2K.
Louisville ties things up in the 8th when Neftali Soto doubles home Fellhauer who walked and Burriss who singled.

Zach Duke pitches a scoreless eighth. Duke is unscored upon in 11+ innings since joining the Bats.

    Dragons' bat stay hot.

Amaral singles, Diaz walks. Winker (11) leaves the yard and clears the bases. 3-0 after half an inning.

Ismael Guillon will be pitching for Dayton tonight.

Ismael Guillon gives up three run in the bottom of the second. Game tied 3-3 after two.

Dayton bounces back with 4 in the top of the third on just two hits. Mejias-Brean is hit by a pitch. Gelalich walks. Rahier singles to load them up. Matthews hits a sac fly. And then Brandon Dailey brings everyone home with his second home run on the season. 7-3 Dayton.
Dayton extends their lead to 11-3 with another 4-spot in the top of the fifth. This time they score the four runs on just one hit. Walks to Matthews, Dailey and Peterson loaded the bases. A throwing error brought home a couple. Jesse Winker's sac fly brought home run number three. And Seth Mejias-Brean's single caps the scoring.
Cedar Rapids responds with four runs of their own in the bottom half of the inning. Guillon walked the leadoff batter. He was then relieved by Amezcua who provided no relief whatsoever. 11-7 Dragons after five full.
    Guillon's line: 4IP 6H 4R 4ER 5BB 3K.

    Pensacola at Montgomery.

Tim Crabbe hurls a scoreless first.
Crabbe has now pitched six shutout innings.

Pensacola erupted for four in the fourth. Mattair leads things off with a single. Chang walks. LaMarre circles the bases on a three-run jack. Brodie Greene triples and scores on a sac fly by Corey Wimberly.

    Pensacola leads 4-zip.

    Billings is at Grand Junction.

Ben Lively has yet to give up an earned run in 2013 and he will be on the mound for the Mustangs. Lively keeps that streak alive by going three hitless, scoreless innings. He walked one and struck out three.

Lively has made four starts and has gone three innings in each of them. In 12IP he has given up 7 hits, 3 walks and fanned 18.

Ty Washington has doubled and scored the game's lone run. 1-0 Billings in the middle of the fifth.

Billings suspended. Grand Junction doesn't have an infield tarp. They had area tarps for the mound and home plate area, but nothing for the infield. I have never seen that before.
