Homer hums the fastball at 98 and sits Freeman down. Wow, no one is more bi-polar than Homer. He is amazing when he's on. And it can fluctuate not game-to-game, not inning-to-inning, but batter-to-batter.

Let's get out of here only down one. That would be big.

I don't think I've ever seen him hit 98 on the gun before!

Walking McCann is the right move. That guy is Berkman-esque in his Reds killing. And that dude from the Brewers....name escapes. I'm getting old.

Somebody said Freeman hurt himself earlier. Bailey struck him out rather easily the last two times. Two outs, now.

Reds walking McCann to load the bases. Uggla will hit with the bags full, two out.

Homer -- don't groove the pitch. If you walk the guy, you walk the guy.

Lots and lots of complaining about a team that is 11 games over .500 before the All-Star break. On pace for 91 wins despite Ludwick having what, 2 at bats and Johnny Cueto a handful of innings on the season.

By reading the reactions of people you would think we are the stinking Marlins.

Full credit for getting out of that inning there without anymore runs scored.

F-3. Good job by Homer to limit the damage.

Problem is, I think we're done scoring today.

Bailey threw a 92 MPH SLIDER to the pitcher. Who hit it. I guess you can say that make Homer bipolar. I tend to tip my cap to the guy who hit a 92 MPH slider.

You know the answer to your comment. High expectations. Nobody thought Reds would be a third place team. Nor do the team's fans find that particularly acceptable or attractive.

    So there are complaints.

Is it the Reds fault that winning 91 games would put them on pace for 3rd place? Would things be different if winning 91 games would put them on pace to win the division by 20 games? The Reds can only control their games. Right now, they are on pace to win a whole bunch of games. People are distraught over it.
