At this rate, for Cingrani to pitch a complete game he would have to have a pitch count of around 300.

Ok I take it back. Soto then, or at least give Hannahan the starts against most of the righties for awhile.

well, it should have no runs, but it could have been worse. Need more runs.

    R. Johnson strikes out swinging. 4 Ks. 4-2 Reds after 3.

I was very sick, a couple of weeks ago, I really thought this may be it. Doctors did not have a clue, and still don't? My temp was 103 to 104.5 off and on for about 4 days.
I may have exaggerated my temp for dramatic purposes

I don't think 4 runs will be enough to win this one...

I'd let Tony go out for one more inning, but if he walks a guy...I yank him. His release point is all over the place. Arm slot too. I had to go back and watch it (normally watch the catcher).

This many pitches in just 3 innings...pitch count isn't as much of a factor as fatigue is.

Just catching up on the game thread. IMO, there's no need for you to apologize for anything you posted, reds1869. A pretty innocent and obvious post of frustration. I have no clue why anyone saw the need to take it literally.

Hopefully by the end of this season, if not, I'm sure his primary focus in the offseason will be on defense.
