That was about as bad a break as you could get this inning. If we didn't have any bad luck, we'd have no luck at all.
    2014 predictions:
99-63 WS champs (Cards take 2nd WC, Mil 3rd, Pit 4th, Chi 5th)
Bruce/Votto neck and neck MVP race (neither takes it)
    Bailey CYA winner
    Hamilton ROY & GG

Nothing to do with luck, they're unprepared. But a pair of sunglasses on.

No it doesn't. The fact that St Louis and Pittsburgh are both on pace to win 99 games is why.

    the hell did that miss?
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Terdoslavich walks. Already 14 extra pitches Cingrani has had to thrown since the blown pop up.

That blind ump better call that same pitch a ball for the Braves. 2-2 pitch Cingrani had him struck out. More luck going against us.

The problem was that the sun was behind the clouds and it popped out while the ball was on the way down. WLW was talking about that. But yeah, sunglasses would've helped. Bad luck was on the timing of the sun coming out and then a bloop double to follow it.

Pretty bad luck when that's followed by a bloop into right that somehow scores the guy from first. Horrendous luck.

I'm sure our batters AREN'T paying attention to the fact that there is a small zone today. They'll probably go up there hacking at the first pitch.
