I think we need to worry about staying healthy and hopefully coming up with a better lineup and a more consistent offense. It would be very big if we had a healthy and productive Cueto, Ludwick, Marshall, Broxton and Masset for August and September. If we fall 10 or so games back before the deadline, I would honestly trade Bailey if we can restock our farm system, ONLY IF we can land 2 elite prospects.

    Latos, Lee, Bailey, Arroyo, Leake

Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

I know there's some joke to your post....but would you seriously have Bronson and Leake back to back (with Leake not pitching for about 12 days)...or was this just all joke and no thought other than that?

I'm not sure you picked up on my #2 starter.

But yeah, I'm not convinced that having two "soft tossers" back-to-back really makes the 2nd less effective.

No I completely got the joke.....I was just wondering if any thought was put into the rest of your list.

    I would go:

    Latos
    Leake
    Bailey
    Arroyo
    Cingrani

You need Bailey going against the Pirates. IIRC he has done very well against them. Also,IIRC,Arroyo has done well agianst the Giants. It also gives you power pitcher, soft tosser on alternate days.

Here's the rotation after the break:

    Leake
    Latos
    Bailey
    Arroyo
    Cingrani

I was close. They just flipped Leake and Latos. I wonder if they will bring up someone to start that 2nd game in SF on July 23rd?

No, Cliff Lee. Six Million would be a steal.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!
