I think the Reds will be a WC team.

And if Dusty can get the rotation right to have the power arms of Latos and Bailey pitch when it matters, I like their chances.

But unfortunately, I don't think Dusty has enough acumen to pull that offf.

Pay attention to the open sky

Los Angeles, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, St. Louis, Cincinnati. We play St. Louis in a one-game playoff. The Dodgers beat whoever, handily and go to the World Series. Pittsburgh likely loses the opening series 3-1 to Atlanta.

In the AL - which I don't follow nearly as close - I'll take Detroit, Boston, Tampa, Texas, Baltimore.

Boston plays Los Angeles in the World Series. Major markets win out again. We'll be talking about the Bengals being a super bowl contender then though.

If the Reds were to make it to the NLCS and the rotation was botched, that's on everyone on the organization if you ask me. If Dusty were to screw it up, someone from above would need to step in.

But in truth, there is not much to screw up. In a 7 game series, it would be hard to see Latos and Bailey not getting 2 starts each.
