Boos? Sounded like he got a big cheer.

That last one was a line drive...the two before were ground balls

The ground ball single that Phillips dove for that McKenry scored on was hit hard.

Homer got 2 ground balls to the MI. One snuck through for an RBI the other wasn't converted into an out. Homer didn't exactly melt down out there.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

I really dislike the way the Reds play getaway games. This game wasn't a must win, but given the likelihood of losing the first game on a west coast trip (pretty much been the pattern of my entire life), gaining as many games, against the team in front of you when you can is probably the best outcome.

This game is strictly on the offense.

    Again from C Trent

Bailey was cheered coming off the field, FWIW. Boos came after the hit, and then when Dusty came on the field

I'm sure that will come as a relief to the 12 members of the pitching staff that you have let them off the hook for this loss. They'll sleep well tonight

    C'mon.

After the McHenry double Homer looked drenched and gassed. Hoover has good stuff, it seemed obvious that he should have been removed.

Then the next guy gets an RBI single and Homer STILL stays out there.

IMO that was a clear case of letting the starter stay out there too long.

I'm watching on my computer on a delay, so it's hard to post today, but Dusty messed that up IMO.

And with the Cards winning, we may lose the game we gained yesterday.

Right, but they've been getaway hacking all day. It's a pretty evident pattern.

My farts sound better than this girl singing God Bless America in a Pee Wee Herman voice.
