How was that not a block in the back? That was as obvious as it gets.

Holy crap! He was so close to the line of scrimmage.

You're welcome!
"This isn’t stats vs scouts - this is stats and scouts working together, building an organization that blends the best of both worlds. This is the blueprint for how a baseball organization should be run. And, whether the baseball men of the 20th century like it or not, this is where baseball is going."---Dave Cameron, U.S.S. Mariner

Greatest ending in the history of football? I'm still in shock!
Thank you Auburn! How ironic is it that both UM and Bama tried to win in regulation instead of settle for OT and it gave OSU, with a win over MSU, a spot in the BCS NC and it most likely knocked Bama out of it.
There are no hunting accidents...It's called kharma.
That is now one of the historic moments in College Football
Stand by what? That isn't the way evaluating odds really works. Plus, both teams stopped each other and made big plays, so it isn't like scoring was a given. There's enough data of all the years in NCAA history to say they had about a 40-45% chance of converting there. The category was 2 point conversion, so those are the odds you work with.
Of course, Hoke was surely just in "I can win this game right here, right now" mode and wasn't thinking about the odds.

Auburn still might pass Ohio State.
A good coach also puts weight in the current game variables into his decision making.
If Florida State went for 2 against Idaho, would you say they only had 40-45 percent chance of converting?
If Wyoming went for 2 against Bama, still 40-45%?
If you say yes, we have a difference of opinion, fine. If not, please explain why.

God bless Alabama's kicker.
And the RB's toe that touched the ground fractions of a second before the clock struck 0.
