As anyone reading this thread knows I love Corky Miller. Who doesn't love a guy who just keeps playing baseball knowing that the most he'll ever get is to be a bench catcher but every year comes back to the organization. And that mustache is icing on the cake.

Could the Reds be thinking about putting Corky on the DL in order to make him post season eligible? If Corky is on the DL August 31 He would be post season eligible plus the Reds could substitute for him on the roster as well. The Reds would be able to call up a catcher now as well and not risk corky being claimed on waivers.

But I think he's just banged up from the collision.
Did Corky get pulled because he got hurt in the collision today, or was that just a straight pinch hit on Dusty's part? I know the other guy got hurt, but didn't think Corky did. Maybe he had some lingering effects and that's why he was pulled?
