That was nine days ago. Doubt very seriously that has anything to do with it. The fact he hasn't pitched in nine days is probably a bigger reason for tonight than the 148-pitches.

They really need Bronson to go deep into this game. A reasonably well rested bullpen will be essential in that double header.

Votto looks like he might be overthinking it right now. He just looks hesitant for some reason. Usually that works for him, but whatever reason it seems to be backfiring at the moment. I'm sure he'll turn it around; just an observation.

Been doing it all year, and a lot of last.

With a 5 run lead now, I think he will do something positive.

Dodgers....if Kemp can ever get and stay healthy. With Hanley stroking it, Puig killing it. A Gon playing well, Crawford coming on.....Kershaw, Greinke, Ryu......lookout

George Grande is much easier to listen to when the Reds have a good team.
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.

    Re: Reds @ Giants 7/22/2013

Just got home. Had to pick up my daughter at her boyfriend's house, Grr. Anyway, thank you, DVR, so I was able to rewind and watch it "live". Quick comments: I love DR's speed. He turns sac bunts into hits. Joey is my favorite Red, but he has really struggled this year in RBI situations. Bruce's walk was a great AB and kept the inning alive. Then Fraz comes through bigtime, and Mez and Choo go yard.

Nice start. I'm now in my usual "recliner, w/laptop to the side, Reds game" spot.
