Mesoraco now with a run-scoring single! No play at the plate, 9-0.

I think it might be safe to pull a few regulars now....9-0

Mesoraco in the last three games he's played looks like a much more confident hitter. That time he reached out and got a soft liner for a single.

Good boost for the offense if he hits.

Tonight sure is fun, but I know this usually means for tomorrow. Save a few, guys.

If Mesoraco and Heisey could claw their way to just a .750-.775 OPS over the next few months, the offense would be amazing. I will allow Cozart to carry on as is.

Been a black hole at C, LF, and SS this year.

This is my kind of game. Hopefully the Giants have a battered bullpen for tomorrow's doubleheader.

Anyone who has the MLB Ap needs to go watch the Heyward catch to end the game for Atlanta.....it was the best jump I've seen all year and it looked like a young Andruw Jones.

Mes has an .801 OPS in night games (going up after tonight) this year.
    .552 in day games.

Or are they getting too much confidence playing?

    This.

The STL game when the Reds scored 9 in the 9th, and then went scoreless for 27 innings (or something like that).

Gotta wonder if this is the Reds team we will see in the second half. Looks like 3-1 to start isn't bad...
