I would have taken the chance now. Even with no catchers left. You have to gamble some times. We're trying to win a pennant.

So confusing. Regardless, just so frustrated with this lineup and the "idea" of starting Reynolds. They maybe didn't have much choice, but it's like giving away a game. And on purpose.

Forgot about the Heisey PH for Hannahan, he was who I was considering double switching. Ignore my blithering.

Dusty is too conservative......goes only by his book. That's why we lead the majors in sacrifices.

Hoover in to pitch, Heisey in LF and Frazier moves to 3B. Reynolds pitch count was low and could have gone longer and did an ok job.

Heisey with his Carlos Gomez imitation

He's not been very lucky so far.

Still weird hearing "Reds coming to bat in the home 6th."
Rounding third and heading for home...

No choice unless they wanted to give the entire rotation only 3 days rest for their next starts.

Reynolds was 10-2 with a 2.54 earnie......It was worth getting him out there to keep the rotation intact.

Reds look like they'll come back to win this one, it'll all work out.

As I said at the beginning of this thread, not a good sign for Nick Masset's future with the club when they give his number (#40) to a one-shot fill-in.

I honestly forgot Masset was still alive.
